Residential Property Paralegal
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a conveyancing assistant or paralegal to join a highly regarded law firm, based in their Central London office.
The ideal candidate will be a bright and efficient legal assistant, with experience of working in a conveyancing department.
As a Residential Paralegal, you will be supporting on a caseload of:
- Sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfer of equity
- Right to buy
- Shared ownership
- New builds
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- File opening & AML compliance
- Dealing with administrative completion and post completion tasks
- Drafting financial statements and invoices
- Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
You will be given the chance to work with, and learn from, respected solicitors in the industry as you look to progress with your career.
Experience:
- At least 6 months experience working in a conveyancing or real estate law firm (essential).
- Familiarity with conveyancing procedures and legal terminology
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to property transactions
