Residential Property Paralegal
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Paralegal to join a highly regarded law firm, based in their Central London office.
This firm are property specialists and are well-known for their work in this sector.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience of working in a Residential Conveyancing department.
As a Residential Property Paralegal, you will be supporting on a caseload of:
- Sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages
- Transfer of equity
- Right to buy
- Shared ownership
- New builds
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Assisting with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks
- Preparing standard correspondence and documents
- Ordering property searches
- Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) return and payment
- Land Registry applications
- Review client account ledger
- Update case management system and database
- Take and make calls to clients and others in a professional and friendly manner

Experience:
- At least 6 months experience working in a conveyancing or real estate team (essential).
- Familiarity with conveyancing procedures and legal terminology
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to property transactions
