Big 4" Accountancy Firm is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join the Receivable Management Group in the West Midlands. As a Senior Manager you be responsible for providing a variety of Receivable Management services to Business Recovery Services, the wider firm and their clients
Your Main Duties will include:
" Managing and assisting with collection of sales ledgers for insolvent companies
" Conducting sales ledger reviews
" Analysing existing systems and identifying weaknesses
" Providing recommendations for improvements to client services.
Candidate Attributes
" Strong experience in credit management or similar supervisory role
" Extremely driven
" Strong understanding of insolvency
" Ability to work on your own initiative
" Confident and professional
" Team focused
" Must be able to work locally, nationally and possibly Europe-wide, and therefore to be able to accommodate travel and potentially significant time away from home
" Institute of Credit Management (ICM) qualification or studying for one
" Basic Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential
" Full UK Driving Licence
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the management of collection of debts for insolvent companies; you will also do debtor book reviews for BRS or external clients. This can include fuller reviews of the systems and processes in place that underpin the sales ledger and its value.
This role includes identification of credit management process improvement throughout the entire sales cycle, and implementation of the recommended actions. It also entails identification of opportunities to generate cash, usually for clients that are experiencing cash flow difficulties.
Both roles will entail planning, strategising and negotiating with debtors and all stakeholders to achieve success. Time on client site varies from case to case and can last several weeks, and sometimes months.
