A leading Coastal Legal 500 with multiple offices are expanding their Litigation team and are seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join them in their busy Eastbourne office.
The successful Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive will be responsible for a mixed case load including matters such as:
- Business partnership disputes, Director disputes and shareholder disputes
- Company and employee fraud
- Contract disputes
- Debt recovery
- Disputes with customers (including warrantee claims)
- Health and safety prosecutions
- IP litigation
- Landlord and tenant and possession proceedings/Property Disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- If a qualified Solicitor, be 4-8 years PQE (ideally), or if an Executive, have extensive Commercial Litigation experience
- Demonstrate a good technical knowledge (in line with your experience)
- Ideally have experience in mentoring junior members of the team
- Be a keen team player with a "can do" attitude
- Be commercially aware
- Willing to learn
- Be able to manage your own work (under supervision)
- Be IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office and ideally experience of using CMS
