A prestigious Legal 500 firm with an award-winning Corporate Commercial team is seeking a Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor or Partner to join them in their busy Eastbourne office. This role involves mentoring and leadership responsibilities within a well-established team supported by junior lawyers and administrative staff.The successful Corporate Commercial Solicitor will be responsible for a varied case load to include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Management buy-outs and buy-ins
- Private equity investments
- Corporate governance
- Administration sales/purchases
- Corporate restructuring
- Shareholders’ agreements
- Joint ventures
- IT licensing, support, and maintenance agreements
- Terms and conditions of business
- Agency and distribution agreements
- Bespoke commercial contracts
- Intellectual Property agreements/contracts/licenses (excluding trademarks or patent applications)
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience: 4+ years PQE in corporate and/or commercial law from a quality law firm
- Skills: Strong technical skills in line with experience, commercial awareness, excellent communication, and ideally some leadership or mentoring experience
