D365 CRM - Project Manager (6-month contract)

Gerrard White are currently working with an entrepreneurial financial services business who are looking for a Project Manager to deliver their companywide CRM upgrade to Dynamics 365.

The ideal candidate will come from a financial services background, and have a proven track record on delivering business critical D365 CRM implementation in an enterprise scale environment.

You will work with multiple workstreams and numerous stakeholders from varying teams, providing recommendations where necessary to ensure a successful go live in May 2023.

What you'll do

  • The role requires the successful candidate to demonstrate exemplary project delivery experience, with hands-on project management skills, applying rigor and discipline to the execution process while being able to respond to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Specifically the successful candidate will be expected to project manage to a successful go-live date of May 2023, a complex CRM upgrade project (moving from on-prem Microsoft D365 to Cloud D365) with multiple workstreams and numerous stakeholders from varying teams.
  • Produce and maintain detailed and summary-level project plans and Gantt charts, being the driving force for ensuring timelines and milestones are met or exceeded, whilst ensuring alignment of business objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate project working groups and steering committee meetings ensuring regular cadence and transparent and timely reporting of project status against time, cost and quality criteria.
  • Ensure project Risks, Issues, Assumptions & Dependencies (RACI) logs are maintained and escalations are managed pragmatically.
  • Produce and maintain resource plans including forecasts and tracking actuals at individual, workstream, project and team levels.
  • Manage and oversee the project budget and spend.


What you'll need

  • Significant, proven project management experience implementing D365 CRM
  • Financial Services experience,
  • Have a solid grasp of basic and many advanced project management principles, along with having experience in successfully applying and advancing those principles,
  • Excellent communication skills, approachable and good at forming relationships with people of all levels within the business,
  • Ability to use own initiative and work with minimal supervision - not only to achieve tasks but to seek out and deliver what needs to be done,
  • Ability to prioritise own workload within a busy environment and meet deadline,
  • Excellent written and presentational skills,
  • Excellent project and organisational discipline,
  • Proven self-working and motivational skills,
  • Strong analytical skills,
  • Agile training qualification.
  • Champion the promotion of integrity in all endeavours,
  • Professional project management qualifications. E.g. Prince II, Agile.
  • Experience using Microsoft project and collaborations tools for project management
  • A background in both retail and institutional asset management
