Overview:A modern, forward-thinking law firm in Haywards Heath are looking for an ambitious Litigation Solicitor or Paralegal to join its growing dispute resolution team. This opportunity would suit a newly qualified Litigation Solicitor or Paralegal or an experienced Senior Litigation Solicitor or Paralegal looking to take the next step in their career. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, commercial approach, and strong client relationships across both individuals and businesses.The Role:
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of litigation matters, with appropriate supervision depending on experience, while also supporting on more complex disputes. The work is varied and may include:
- Commercial litigation
- Contract disputes
- Debt recovery
- Property litigation
- General civil disputes
Key Responsibilities:
- Running your own caseload of litigation files from instruction through to resolution
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
- Advising clients in a clear, practical, and commercial manner
- Assisting senior fee earners on complex matters
- Attending client meetings, mediations, and court hearings where appropriate
- Newly Qualified Solicitor or experienced Senior Paralegal with fee-earning experience
- Strong grounding in litigation and dispute resolution
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload with a degree of autonomy
- A proactive and client-focused approach
