We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join a growing law firm based in Basingstoke. This firm are going through an exciting period of growth, and this is a fantastic opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic and fun team. The firm are looking to establish themselves as the leading firm in their region and their staff are critical to this success.
They're looking for a bright person with good academics who ideally has prior experience in a Litigation Paralegal role, but the firm will also consider experienced Paralegals from other areas of Law. Or candidates with a strong admin background, or other legal experience.
The successful candidate will:
- Be working across both Commercial and Civil Litigation matters
- Have a varied workload including breaches of contract, business disputes, contentious wills and probate matters, and property litigation.
- Be working alongside Partners and Associates assisting them with their files, including
- Drafting documents including witness statements and court forms
- Preparing court bundles
- Legal Research
- Liaising with and meeting with clients
- Assisting with general compliance and file administration
- Manage your own caseload of small claim cases and debt recovery claims
- And you'll be well supported by an experienced team who will help you grow your career and expertise. The firm do offer training contracts to colleagues when there is a vacancy to do so and for colleagues who have demonstrated excellent performance in their role.
