Residential Property Solicitor – 2+ PQE | West Sussex (Hybrid/Remote Considered)A well-established and growing law firm in West Sussex is seeking a confident and motivated Residential Property Solicitor to join its expanding property department. This role is open to a Residential Property Solicitor who is confident working independently while also enjoying being part of a close-knit team. The firm is flexible and open to hybrid working, including remote arrangements, however occasional office attendance in West Sussex will be required to maintain strong team integration and client service standards.
The Role – Residential Property Solicitor As a Residential Property Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. You will handle a broad range of transactions, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- New build and shared ownership transactions
- Lease extensions and related property matters
- Liaising directly with clients, agents, lenders and third parties
- Managing files efficiently and in line with compliance requirements
About You The ideal Residential Property Solicitor will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ PQE (or equivalent conveyancing experience)
- Be confident managing a full residential property caseload independently
- Demonstrate strong client care and communication skills
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Be motivated, proactive, and commercially aware
