Associate/Solicitor – Pensions | Guildford, SurreyA leading UK law firm is looking for a Pensions Solicitor/ Associate (1–3 PQE) to join its highly regarded specialist team in Guildford.
The team advises trustees, employers and pension scheme providers across a broad range of pensions matters, including scheme governance, regulatory compliance, risk management and pensions issues arising from corporate transactions.
The role:
- Advise trustee and employer clients on day-to-day pensions and life assurance matters
- Support pensions aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence
- Draft and review scheme documentation, member communications and advice notes
- Undertake legal research and monitor regulatory developments
- Attend client meetings and provide practical, commercial advice
- Support business development, pitches and thought leadership
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 1–3 PQE
- Experience or exposure to pensions law
- Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills
- Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Confident communicator with strong client and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, enthusiastic and keen to develop within a specialist practice
Working: Hybrid, with at least 50% working from home/another UK location
