Description:

A leading Legal 200 with an international award winning Corporate department are currently seeking a Corporate Solicitor (c3-6 years PQE) to join them in their exceptionally busy and highly successful Crawley office. You will have the opportunity to work alongside leading individuals, being able to learn from them and develop your own knowledge.

The successful Corporate Solicitor will take the lead on the firm\'s smaller transactions (sub-£2million), being assisted by junior Lawyers, experienced Paralegals and a Team Assistant. The successful Corporate Solicitor will also be the main assistant to Senior Lawyers on mid-large transactions (£2m-10m and £10m+ respectively).

Work will include:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • MBOs and MBIs
  • Corporate structuring and financing
  • Joint ventures

The firm have a focus on high quality work, with their clients primarily being large corporations. They have an exceptionally busy pipeline and this role is a brand new role created to cope with the level of business and their continued growth/success.

The role will suit an ambitious Solicitor who is keen to progress their career, working for a highly respected Corporate team, leading on deals with the opportunity of being considered for the Associate track programme.

To be considered, the successful Corporate Solicitor will offer the following skillset/background:

  • Be admitted to the roll with at least 3 years PQE, gained within Corporate Finance/Corporate Commercial
  • Proven experience of working in a client-centric environment with excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to build and sustain strong professional relationships
  • Strong technical knowledge (in line with PQE)
  • Be a strong team player with ability to support/mentor junior members of staff, along with working with other departments across the business
  • Excellent communication skills
