Role overview
Joining a high calibre M&A team as a Business Analyst, you will assist in the investigation, analysis, review and documentation of acquired businesses in terms of functions and processes, so that the company can successfully decommission redundant systems and transition acquired applications into main IT estate.
Working with an array of applications from business applications through to CRM and finance systems, projects can involve the move of whole business units from old to new systems.
You will capture and detail existing Application and Digital estate of target companies, including in-depth investigation and subsequent reporting and highlighting of security risks and remediation activity needed to ensure compliance with overall company standards
Experience Required for the Successful Business Analyst
You MUST have experience with system integrations and decommissioning within the general insurance sector, with knowledge of core insurance broking business systems including Acturis, TCAS, Stingray, CDL, Quotex, IBA & Global XB) being highly advantageous.
You will also have experience in data migrations, and testing in this space to support the plans to move large amounts of policy and product data from old to new systems.
High level requirements definition, comparing the current state with the potential future state (as is vs to be). Includes process modelling and using detailed knowledge of existing systems to propose new solutions
