What are these Terms of Service?
These Terms of Service for Candidates govern your use of the recruitment services provided by GWV Talent Solutions (trading as Gerrard White Consulting) to you and your relationship with us.
The basis on which services are provided
GWV Talent Solutions Limited trading as Gerrard White Consulting are acting as an Employment Business when arranging contract assignments and as an Employment Agency when arranging permanent appointments on behalf of its candidates, as defined in The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 (Conduct Regulations).
These terms comply with Regulations 14 and 15 of the Conduct Regulations. The Company is in the business of providing work finding services, as defined in the Conduct Regulations for candidates and independent specialists and where a role or assignment is found, providing arrangements for persons to provide services to its clients through contract assignment or by permanent appointment with its clients.
Acceptance of these Terms of Service for Candidates
By using services provided by GWV Talent Solutions Limited (trading as Gerrard White Consulting), you are confirming that you have read, understood and accept these Terms and agree to comply with the provisions within.
These Terms of Service are effective from the earlier of:
1. Your first communication with any representative of GWV Talent Solutions Limited
2. Your initial use of any service provided by GWV Talent Solutions Limited
3. Your agreement to accept our services when approached by any representative of GWV Talent Solutions Limited who has contacted you after sourcing your data through a third-party CV Database, Social or Professional Network, or Job Board website.
Please ensure that you read these Terms of Service in full and comply with any requirements.
If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, please refrain from using our services.

Why are you being asked to accept our Terms of Service?
You wish to use our work finding or recruitment services and are seeking either permanent, temporary or contract work opportunities.
Charges for Services
GWV Talent Solutions provides its services to all candidates free of charge.
When the Company introduces you to a client, having obtained your consent to the introduction, then upon mutual agreement with the client it will arrange an interview(s) on your behalf and help you conclude negotiations for a permanent, contract or temporary assignment.
No guarantee can be given that an introduction and/or the provision of services will lead to a contract assignment or permanent appointment.
If you do not wish us to provide your information to any particular hiring client, it is important that you inform us in writing, providing us with sufficient detail so that we can recognise all of the persons or organisations you wish to exclude. We cannot accept any liability if we provide your information to any hiring client other than one you have specifically excluded.
If you consent for GWV Talent Solutions Limited to introduce your CV to a hiring client, you thereby authorise the disclosure of all relevant information to the hiring client as is reasonably required to consider your application.
If you are successful in securing a permanent appointment through GWV Talent Solutions, you agree to provide us with:
Evidence of your Identity and Right to Work Status
Proof of Address
If you are successful in securing a contract assignment through GWV Talent Solutions, you agree to provide us with as a minimum:
Evidence of your Identity and Right to Work Status
Proof of Address
Upon request, to provide us with names of suitable referees
Any qualifications or certificates that are referred to in your CV or otherwise disclosed by you, which Our client considers are necessary, or which are required by law or by any professional body, to work in the position which our client seeks to fill.
If a role requires that you undertake any Disclosure and Barring Service (“DBS”) checks, you will provide the required documents and information upon request, and you acknowledge that an Assignment may not commence until the documents are provided and we have been able to complete all necessary checks under the DBS.
We are under no obligation and make no representation that GWV Talent Solutions can or will find work for you. We provide no guarantee that our services will function without interruption or errors including these services contributed to by third party suppliers.
Whilst GWV Talent Solutions strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any information including job listings, candidate profiles and/or client details.
GWV Talent Solutions reserves the right to modify or update this disclaimer at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is the user's responsibility to review this disclaimer periodically.

Limitation of Liability

In consideration of the mutual obligations set out in this agreement and our agreement to seek work for you, you accept and agree these terms, which you acknowledge you have fully read and understood. Should you discuss with us any proposal for work or request us to seek work for you at any time after you have received these terms, the fact of that discussion or the request shall be deemed to be your acceptance of these terms.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
