Admin Assistant - Hybrid Working Available
Location: Lakeside - Portsmouth
Salary: £19,000
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm
Role Purpose:
Sitting within our Pet Claims Department, you will initially undertake claims admin work in order to maintain a smooth and faultless customer journey. You will be expected to understand the claims process from start to finish, and contribute by entering claims onto the system, chasing missing information, and readying claims for assessment.
After 6 months you will transfer into a phone-based service position where you will handle pet claims calls and ensure the efficient and professional handling of all aspects of pet insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Admin duties including entering claims onto the system, chasing missing information, and readying claims for assessment.
- Answering calls in a timely manner and in accordance with our Service Level Agreements.
- Contacting and dealing with customers via telephone and email
- Collating and posting of documents where required.
- Liaising with veterinary practices, breeders, policy holders and affinity partners to obtain information to allow veterinary nurses to settle claims and then produce the cheques.
- Ad hoc duties as required by Management.
- Aware of and conform to legal requirements in all activities, both internal and external. Implicit in this is that all Managers and Staff conform to the appropriate standards in terms of Health and Safety, but also to the highest standards of business ethics.
