A nationwide property management company is searching for a Senior Service Charge Accountant based in Tunbridge Wells.

Role Purpose:
Support the business in overseeing the rent and service charge accounting for its extensive residential and commercial property portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of rent and service charge accounts to strict deadlines.
- Manage rent and service charge requirements.
- Production of residential and commercial service charge and Year End accounts.
- Production and Assistance to Property Managers in the preparation of service charge budgets.
- Liaising with the property managers/clients/leaseholders regarding any accounting queries.
- Assisting stakeholders in the understanding of the service charge accounts and processes where necessary.
- Support in banking/cashiering.
- Streamline and review current processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Take on ad-hoc duties as requested by the finance team and business.
- General Day to day administration in support of the team.
- Provide support during annual audits.
- To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as instructed by the line manager.
Skills:
- Prior knowledge of the property sector and service charge accounting essential.
- Sage 50 experience and QUBE preferable.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Ability to build relationships across the business working closely with other departments.
- Motivated self-starter who shows initiative.
- Self -motivated, proactive with the ability to use your own initiative.
- Overall sound general Finance knowledge
- Good Time Management.
