Business Continuity Analyst - Global Risk Management Leader - Competitive Salary + Package - Perm - Hybrid working with base of London (City) or other UK locations
Gerrard White are working with a global risk management and insurance broking organisation with a huge presence in the UK, who are currently looking for a Business Continuity Analyst to join their growing IT Business Continuity Function.
This is an exciting time to join a market leading, highly acquisitional organisation in a role will provide good quality, varied work within a complex IT environment. You will be working closely with stakeholders at all levels, engaging with like-minded individuals across the organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Business Continuity Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Business Continuity plans, covering key places, people, work and equipment across the Technology function of the business. In addition, you will help manage and administer the BC-related aspects of the IT Department vendor contracts, liaising with 3rd party suppliers where necessary.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop and maintain key relationships across the IT Team Leader community, building strong communication links internally in order to ensure effective Business Continuity and Incident Management.
The successful Business Continuity Analyst will also be responsible for -
* Developing and maintaining Corporate BC Planning artefacts such as BIAs & Site BC Plans in coordination with local site Team Leaders.
* Create, arrange, manage & carry out physical testing of Team Technology BC Plans.
* Managing & maintaining "Key Personnel Risk" and "Staff Succession" planning processes in coordination with existing Team Technology resource planners.
* Co-ordinate with training records management processes & maintain the subsequent SFIA records
* Updating and maintaining BC software and any centrally held records relating to BC data.
* Creation of MI relating to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery analysis.
* Escalation of identified gaps within the BC environment to the DR and BC Managers.
* Being aware of BC industry good practice guidelines and external factors that may impact BC deliveries.
* Complying with the Business Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements.
* Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and the business's shared values.
The successful Business Continuity Analyst
* Member of the BCI or equivalent practical knowledge/experience.
* Demonstrable evidence of working towards set deadlines.
* Using initiative when dealing with challenges.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively.
* Strong organisation skills.
* Pro-active approach.
* Flexible approach to the challenges of a changing environment.
* Close attention to detail and accuracy.

Competitive base salary depending on experience, coupled with a good benefits package, bonus, and fantastic degree of flexible working which will see you work remotely, with very occasional travel to offices in either London, or Wakefield as a base. There may be some wider UK and international travel required at times, however this will be infrequent.
