Business Development Manager

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading property management company on a full-time permanent basis. This is a newly created role to help drive leads and income into the business.

About the role

The key elements of your role will include:

  • Identify new business opportunities that will drive leads and income.
  • Proactively manage key and existing relationships to ensure requirements are met.

Key responsibilities:

  • Arrange appointments with potential partners to highlight commercial services.
  • Successfully convert prospects into contracted partner agreements.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure new opportunity launch dates are within agreed timescales.
  • Prepare business and marketing plans.
  • Work with our marketing resources to produce collateral to maximise exposure with each opportunity.
  • Achieve sales, new business and other targets to be agreed with line manager.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with partners to maximise the level of income produced.
  • Liaise with the sales team to understand the sales journey.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of all products/services offered by the business.
  • Any ad hoc responsibilities as required.

About you

  • To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience working in a sales role including working in a targeted environment.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Self-motivated, able to work remotely and manage a sales territory
  • Experience with face to face, B2B sales and delivering presentations.
  • Experience in managing a sales territory.
  • Ability to prospect via durable medium, telephone and face to face.
  • Experience in discussing property management services would be advantageous.
