Junior PMO Analyst - Permanent - Essex

Gerrard White is currently seeking a Junior PMO Analyst to work a hybrid model split between the office in Essex and remotely from home for a global insurance company.


Working within the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Team - the Junior PMO Analyst role is an integral part of the PMO Team, which in itself is part of the wider Change Management function. Change Management provides a range of important services including project and portfolio management, business analysis and project governance.

The role is accountable to the PMO Analyst, working on regular and ad-hoc activities and will also support the Head of PMO in managing PMO activities as required whilst working closely in collaboration with the other PMO Team members (Onshore and Offshore).

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage the monthly project finance reporting process, highlighting and investigating any anomalies
  • Configure and maintain monthly process for identifying impacts of central services projects on business division timelines
  • Train team members on processes, documents and tools within remit as required
  • Change Management Team Activities:
  • Document minutes and track actions of Team Meetings as required
  • Update and maintain engagement commitment tracker with Change Director
  • Maintain Change Delivery Resource tracker
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with the Onshore and Offshore PMO Analysts to align and standardise activities and support PMO Team processes and tools
  • Support the wider Change Management Team and build trusted relationships
  • Build stakeholder relationships outside of Change Management where relevant to the role


Suitable candidates will have 12 months + office based work experience including advanced MS Excel experience (including Pivot tables and complex formulas), MS Word and MS Powerpoint. Any Power BI experience would be advantageous but not essential.


You will also have good organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a complex environment and adapt to shifting priorities. You will also be adept at setting own work schedule and monitoring and reporting progress against goals with excellent communication skills.
