Commercial Account Handler

Job description

As a Commercial Account Handler, your primary responsibility will be to provide accurate quotations for new business and renewals, helping the Branch achieve its sales and retention goals.

You will also act as a valuable referral point, guiding with your expertise. You'll interact directly with clients via phone and email, utilising your exceptional communication and negotiation skills to ensure that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively.

This role demands keen judgment, strong analytical abilities, and an unwavering attention to detail. You must be flexible, self-motivated, and driven to deliver outstanding customer service, all while adhering to your underwriting authority limits and following established procedures.

You will have:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance terms clearly to clients and insurers.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK insurance market, including trends, risks, and regulatory changes.
  • Ability to assess diverse client needs, considering industry-specific risks and business objectives.
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization skills to manage tasks efficiently.
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude, with a motivational approach to your work
