Home Insurance Advisor
Salary: £20,357 - £24,650
Work from home 4 days and 1 day in the office after initial training
Start Date: 9th January 2023
The Company
My client is a leading and expanding insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition and are in The Times Top 100 Companies to work for. They are now looking to recruit a Customer Claims Advisor to join their Friendly and forward thinking team in Nottingham.
The Role
The key purpose of this role is to deal with allocated home insurance claims in a cost effective and efficient way.
Your role as Claims Handler will be to look after your customer throughout their claims journey. The claims you will deal with can range from TV damage in the home to a large subsidence claim. You will be there to update and look after each customer and see them through the whole process with an empathetic ear and friendly manner.
Responsibilities
- Process home claims including, gadget and TV damage, boilers, flooding, subsidence etc.
- Speaking with customers in regard to their claims
- General admin and emails
- Updating customers with the progression of their claim
- Dealing with emails and post
- Liaise with suppliers
- Additional administration duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
· Previous home or motor insurance/claims experince (Required for top end of salary)
. Excellent customer service experience
· Demonstrate a calm and professional attitude
· Ability to listen, identify and resolve customer issues
· Willingness to develop self and new skills
· Good literacy and numeracy skills

Hours Shifted: Monday to Friday, between 8am to 6pm.
