Job Description
Working backend side within an in-house development team your role will focus on the development of an exciting enterprise solution for some of the biggest insurance organisations in the world, integrating with hundreds of systems.
You will primarily be working with Core Java on Spring Framework, with Hibernate and MS SQL Server, as well as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket (Atlassian).
This will suit an inquisitive and creative mind who wants to be part of the evolution of a world-class solution within a highly competitive market.
The Successful Java Developer
It is imperative that you have a relevant University Degree, and near straight A's in you're A-Levels, ideally within Mathematics or similar subjects, as well as years'1-3 commercial experience focusing on Core Java.
You will want a high level of complexity in the work that you do, be hungry to push yourself and learn, as well as make a difference in the work that you are doing.
Problem solving skills, and the ability to think outside of the box are of paramount importance as this is dealing with millions of lines of code in a product that can be customised to the needs of complex, enterprise-scale businesses.
