job Title: Receptionist - Glasgow
Rolling temporary contract - Minimum of 2 weeks, projected up to 5 weeks but with the possibility of becoming permanent
Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm
Hourly rate depending on experience
Overview:
To be the first point of contact for visitors and staff in a busy regional office for a well-known insurance company.
Responsibilities:
- Meeting and greeting clients, and managing all visitors to the building.
- Maintain a booking system for the meeting rooms, provide equipment and refreshments, set up for meetings (where applicable)
- Deal with all incoming & outgoing mail, couriers & deliveries.
- Provide administrative support to the other areas of the business where necessary.
- Ordering of stationary and office supplies (where applicable)
- Order and arrange internal working lunches
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of reception, telephone switchboard, access control and communication systems.
- Strong administration & organisational skills.
- Professional & welcoming manner.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Packages
- Ability to work on own initiative.
