Residential Conveyancing LawyerAre you an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or CILEX Qualified Conveyancer (2+ PQE) seeking a friendly, well-established firm with a genuinely supportive team culture? The Role: You will handle a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion, working closely with colleagues and clients to ensure a smooth and efficient process. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously while contributing positively to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a full caseload of residential property transactions including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity and re-mortgages
- New build transactions and unregistered titles
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documentation, and related correspondence
- Liaising effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
- Ensuring all transactions comply with current legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records
- Delivering a high standard of client service and building lasting client relationships
- Taking an active role in local business development and networking events
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the conveyancing department
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Conveyancer with at least 2 years’ PQE
- Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing law and procedure
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues
- Ideally local to Crowborough or the surrounding area
- Competitive salary (£45,000 – £70,000 depending on experience)
