Job description
A leading national law firm with a strong reputation in the health, social care, life sciences and charity sectors is seeking a talented Solicitor or Associate (3–5 PQE) to join its established Corporate & Commercial team.This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied and high-quality caseload of commercial disputes, including:
- Contract disputes
- Procurement challenges
- Construction disputes
- Partnership disputes
- Governance issues, complaints and internal investigations
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3–5 years’ PQE in commercial litigation (guideline only)
- Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
- Experience across key pre-trial stages, including case assessment, disclosure, witness statements and trial preparation
- Experience of alternative dispute resolution
- The ability to interpret complex contracts and provide clear, practical advice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness and a strategic mindset
- Confidence working independently within a collaborative team
