Role Overview:

Join a prominent organisation as a Senior Assistant Company Secretary, overseeing essential company secretarial duties and regulatory compliance. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in regulated environments and exceptional organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Assistant Company Secretary, your responsibilities will include managing the seamless operation of various Regulated Insurance Boards and Committees:

  • Coordination of comprehensive meeting operations, from agenda preparation to action item tracking.
  • Managing contributors' reports and submissions, ensuring adherence to set timelines.
  • Building board and committee packs using Diligent Entities, circulating materials promptly.
  • Attendance at meetings to take precise minutes and maintenance of accurate records.
  • Ensuring swift circulation of minutes and actions, maintaining historical meeting materials.
  • Upholding FCA compliance and Consumer Duty processes within the organisation.
  • Supporting the Deputy Company Secretary as directed and undertaking additional responsibilities and projects.

Additionally, your role involves general company secretarial duties, including statutory filings, record maintenance, legal document organisation, and facilitating corporate actions such as mergers, acquisitions, and risk register updates.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Degree-level education and CGI (ICSA) qualification or legal equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' company secretarial experience in a regulated environment (FCA, Lloyds, or PRA).
  • Proficiency in extensive minute writing, company administration, and board/committee support.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Diligent Entities, and Diligent Boards or equivalent platforms.
