Job Title: Claims Handler

Location: Bristol (Hybrid working available)

Are you an experienced Claims Handler looking for a dynamic and supportive team? Our client, a leading organisation in the insurance sector, is seeking a motivated individual to manage professional indemnity claims. Join a thriving department that provides outsourced claims management services on behalf of top insurers, working with a diverse client base across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage claims from initial notification to resolution, ensuring thorough investigation and appropriate responses.
  • Negotiate settlements within delegated authority, balancing efficiency and fairness.
  • Maintain accurate case records on the electronic case management system.
  • Report regularly to insurers and ensure adherence to both internal and insurer KPIs and SLAs.
  • Proactively manage a caseload to avoid litigation and ensure effective resolutions.
  • Identify and report potential risks, supporting the Head of Claims with insights on trends.
  • Build strong relationships with insured professionals, insurers, and suppliers.
