Corporate Paralegal
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join a leading legal 500 firm in their Lewes office. This is a long-standing and well-established firm with an exceptional reputation in the Kent and Sussex region. They are highly ranked in the Legal 500 as well as Chambers & Partners and produce great quality work.
Due to an increase in workload, this firm is seeking a paralegal to join their Corporate and Commercial department. This role will be supporting the Head of Department on a range of work, including:
- Merges and Acquisitions
- Sales
- Joint ventures
- Shareholder agreements
The Head of Department advises on company and business sales and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and management buy-outs. They also advise on shareholder and partnership agreements and other joint venture arrangements, corporate governance, and general company law.
This partner has a particular specialism in the healthcare sector and regularly advises on both the acquisition and sale of retail pharmacies and care homes.
This firm is seeking a candidate with a good academic background, a confident and professional manner, and a passion and enthusiasm for corporate/commercial law. They are open to bright and driven graduates, but previous paralegal experience would be a bonus.
The successful candidate will receive great training and development and will have great progression paths available.
Please note: this firm is looking for a paralegal on a longer-term basis initially (at least 1 year), with the possibility of support through SQE/training contract in the future.

Salary: £18,000 - £24,000 (dependent on experience)
