Customer Care Agent – Motor Insurance Rainham, Essex, UK

£26,000 - £30,000 + Benefits d.o.e   4 days in office, work from home on Fridays!

This role will only accept candidates who have insurance experience and are in a commutable distance to Rainham, Essex.

Perks
Hours: 9-5. No evenings. No weekends. Overtime sometimes offered, paid at time and half. 4 days in office, work from home on Fridays. Pay increase following 12 months service. Free drinks and snacks in office.

What You’ll Do:
· Be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries via phone and live chat.
· Provide expert guidance on quotations, new business, renewals, and existing policies.
· Ensure excellent customer experiences by meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
· Work towards key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to team success.
· Identify areas for service improvements and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency.
· Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and data protection policies.

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Previous insurance call agent / call centre / sales experience is essential. Motor insurance preferred. Other insurance product experience is also considered.
✔ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills – able to build rapport with customers and colleagues. ✔ A positive, proactive attitude – a true team player who is motivated to deliver service excellence. ✔ Strong problem-solving skills – able to listen, understand customer needs, and provide the best solutions. ✔ Reliability & integrity – trustworthy, ethical, and committed to treating customers fairly.
