Data Architect - Insurance Domain

Role overview

As a data architect working within a well-established, and highly skilled enterprise data solutions function, your role will involve supporting overall IT architectural governance, helping to define and drive the data strategy, and provide technical leadership regarding reference architecture and data principles.

The role will be largely project focused, collaborating with both business and technical colleagues to create high level design documents, largely on a major transformation project that is seeing the implementation of a new core policy system across all insurance product lines.

Experience Required for the Successful Data Architect

You will be an experienced Data Architect or Data Engineer with architecture experience, and have solid experience with Azure, Databricks, Snowflake.

Ideally you will have worked within an enterprise scale insurance environment and have worked on integrations of policy systems and software including EIS, or similar.

High level ETL design experience is important, as is the design and governance of central data platforms and pipelines within a complex IT environment.

It is imperative that you have first class communication skills and have experience co-ordinating with vendors assisting with analytical system implementations.
