We’re looking for experienced, talented Data Scientists to join the new Data Science function of a leading UK insurer. Working at a sizeable and growing personal lines insurer (volume eCommerce distribution channels) you will see a real impact of the work you are doing, as you work across a broad variety of business areas including pricing, claims, customer operations, fraud and marketing.

 

You will benefit from working with a friendly, collaborative, and talented team of high-level Data Scientists with a range of experience and specialisms, so a great opportunity for experienced Data Scientists who are eager to share their knowledge whilst continuing to learn. Projects across numerous business areas will allow you to provide the most appropriate solutions, exploring and utilising all DS techniques, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Image Recognition.

 

You will also be joining a company who offer a genuinely warm and welcoming environment, against a backdrop of significant investment in major digital transformation, and ambitious growth plans which will continue to keep projects interesting.

 

We’re looking for someone with;

 

1.      solid Machine Learning predictive modelling skills (using Python)

2.      experience of delivering end-to-end solutions including deployment/ productionisation

3.      a collaborative, exploratory mindset

4.      any other specialisms (Deep Learning, NLP, Image Recognition etc.) are a plus

5.      insurance knowledge would be highly beneficial, but is not required

 

This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of DS solutions for a range of business problems (deployed using Cloud technologies), across a range of problems utilising a variety of solutions.

Salary to £75k and can be predominantly home working with circa one day a week in the office.
