Overview: We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm in Tunbridge Wells, seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Solicitor or Legal Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) who is passionate about family law and ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities:

  • Caseload Management: Independently manage a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and cohabitation agreements.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high standards of client care throughout the legal process.
  • Legal Advice: Provide clear, practical, and tailored advice to clients, navigating complex family law issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with relevant legal standards and regulations, including compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct and other regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial aspects related to your caseload, including billing and the collection of fees, to meet agreed targets.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, providing support and guidance where necessary, and contributing to the firm's collaborative culture.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development activities, including networking and marketing initiatives, to help grow the family law department.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3-5 years of PQE, who has a strong track record in handling a diverse range of family law cases. You should be confident in managing your own caseload, committed to delivering exceptional client service, and eager to contribute to the ongoing success of the firm.
