Job Title: Hire Monitoring Claims Handler
Location: UK-Middlesex-20 Riverside Uxbridge
£21 - 25k plus great benefits
Hybrid working after training: 3 days in the office, 2 days at home NO Saturdays.
The incentive scheme provides the opportunity for the handlers to potentially earn additional bonuses on top

Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a dynamic, fast moving company within the credit hire industry who pride themselves not only on brilliant service to their customers but also maintaining an enviable place to work.
The company have been established for over 27 years and are currently going through a period of significant growth and as a result of this are looking to recruit for claims handlers to join the team.
The Ideal Candidate

Will have worked previously in a busy telephone based role and have a positive and friendly approach. Training will be provided but enthusiasm and strong customer service is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Manage your own portfolio of clients for the duration of their hire period
  • Confidently negotiate with third party insurers
  • Liaise with repairers and obtain key updates on the progress of client's vehicle repairs
  • Follow up claims progress with third party insurers to ensure losses are correctly mitigated
  • Abide by guidelines agreed with the insurers to ensure that the hire charges are paid in full
  • Keeping good levels of communication with other team members and other departments
  • Apply a structured and organised approach to managing your own caseload


Qualifications:

  • Great on the phone
  • Confident building rapports with customers
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, prioritisation skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Confident negotiator
  • Has a working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook and basic IT skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues
  • Have a 'can do' attitude and an ability to think 'outside the box'
  • To be able to deal with challenging customers



Desirable Skills:
Previous experience of working in a Credit Hire or Insurance Company
Previous customer account management experience
