Lettings Negotiator

A well-established, independently owned Estate and Lettings Agency is looking for an experienced Residential Lettings Negotiator who is passionate about achieving great results and providing excellent customer service. This role will be based in Tonbridge, Kent.

Our client is seeking a highly organised individual with strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a solid knowledge of lettings legislation with an understanding of the local market.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in property lettings to hit the ground running and contribute to the growth of the business in a dynamic office.

Aside from a strong work ethic and a positive mindset, we are looking for someone with a proven track record of success in the lettings sector.

Our client is open to both junior and senior level candidates (up to manager level), but please note that the successful candidate will be the sole lettings person in this branch (working closely with the property managers and sales team).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property viewings and secure offers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with tenants and landlords.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the lettings process.
  • Negotiate and arrange tenancy agreements using property management software.
  • Ensure all necessary certifications are in place and up to date.
  • Monitor referencing, Right to Rent checks, etc.
  • Provide advice on the local rental market.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities.
  • Stay updated with the latest lettings legislation and regulations.
  • Demonstrate excellent sales skills and a commitment to delivering high performance.

Package: basic salary + commission + car allowance (basic salary of up to £32,000, dependent on experience)
