Contract Operational Resilience Business Analyst : FCA/PRA

Duration: 12 Months

IR35 Determination: Outside IR35

Location: Remote working with occasional travel to client offices as required by project

This role will support Project Managers and the Programme Manager in the Group Operational Resilience Programme to deliver regulatory requirement deliverables via a number of defined workstreams across the group. The focus will be to design and develop processes, procedures, templates, guidance and other artefacts to support the implementation of an Operational Resilience Framework and operating model.

This will be a hands on role involving an overseeing and hands on approach and you should have spent the last 12-24 months working on an FCA/PRA operational resilience regulation project within the financial services or insurance sector. Please note that we are unable to consider candidates without this experience.

Deliverables:

  • Support and work across multiple workstreams and deliverables into businesses
  • Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders in common objectives to meet project milestones
  • Help develop reporting at regular intervals on progress to Group Operational Resilience Programme
  • Support Group Programme Manager and Project Managers in designing and delivering programme artefacts, including quality assurance of those artefacts across the programme.
  • Collaborate with and manage stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Take steer from Group Operational Resilience Programme Manager
  • Responsible for designing, developing and assisting with the implementation of new processes, methodologies in alignment with regulatory requirements, incl. process mapping, data analysis, reporting metrics, scenario testing, threat and vulnerability analysis, risk assessments, plans
  • Assist the project manager with planning, preparation of materials and the running of working groups and other meetings with key stakeholders, managing actions, decisions and taking notes.
  • Work closely across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring efficient communication is achieved

Experience Required:

  • Knowledge and experience of delivering against FCA/PRA Operational Resilience regulations
  • Strong experience in tool development using O365
  • High quality output of templates, processes, procedures
  • Quality data analysis/analytical skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and with a certain amount of ambiguity in requirements

Advantageous:

  • Previous experience of delivering against FCA/PRA Operational Resilience/TPRM/Business Continuity regulatory requirements.
