Underwriter – Legal Indemnity InsuranceLocation: Tunbridge Wells - for this role you will need to have a full driving licence and access to vehicle.
Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Hybrid available after training)

I am working with my client who are a specialist underwriting agency in the property market across England and Wales, providing legal indemnity insurance. As part of a three-year growth plan they are expanding the team and seeking Underwriters to join a supportive, fast-growing business. Full training will be provided by experienced industry professionals, making this a great opportunity for career development.
What You’ll Do:
- Assess risk and prepare quotes from solicitor and broker enquiries.
- Respond to follow-up questions and issue final policy documents.
- Work with Microsoft Word and a bespoke IT system (training provided).
- Ensure compliance and provide excellent client service.
- Law graduates keen to enter commercial insurance.
- Property underwriters with legal indemnity or property law experience.
- Legal professionals exploring a new career direction.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Standard hours 9:00–17:00, Monday–Friday
