A Painter Decorator require for a well-established property maintenance and facilities business currently based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The firm provides property management solutions to residential and corporate clients throughout the UK, regardless of the size and scale of the project. Our approach is to provide personalised, tailored portfolio management and maintenance programmes for each individual client.

Role:

This Painter/Decorator role is varied and will cover a range of properties the Company manages as part of its portfolio. The ideal person will have some previous experience in painting and decorating ranging from small projects to much larger ones.

Responsibilities:

• Applying paint and varnishes to a variety of surfaces
• Applying primers and undercoats
• Using brushes, rollers and spraying equipment where required
• Wallpapering
• Ensure all surfaces are ready for decorating
• Tidy work areas and ensure tools are kept clean
• Preparing surrounding areas ready for work
• Advising on equipment and resources necessary to complete the job

The candidate would need to have:

• Good communication skills
• Be thorough and have good attention to detail
• Have some knowledge or public safety and security
• Basic computer skills
• The ability to work independently and in a team
• Good time management skills
• A clean driving license
• Willing to travel and work away from home as required
