We’re on the lookout for a highly organised, detail-driven Payroll Specialist to join our Group Payroll Team within People Operations.In this hybrid role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll across multiple entities — supporting business growth, acquisitions, and transformation initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
- Processing multiple monthly payrolls for 1,500–5,000 employees.
- Managing end-to-end payroll reconciliation and month-end reporting.
- Handling payroll queries via phone, email, ServiceNow, or in person.
- Ensuring compliance with PAYE, NI, pensions, and HMRC/TPR requirements.
- Supporting system upgrades, acquisitions, and data integrations.
- Maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality across all payroll and HR systems.
- Experience in high-volume payroll environments.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (Cascade, SD Worx, Dayforce, or similar).
- Advanced Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive under pressure.
