Role: Claims Handler- Personal injury
Location: Flexible working with 4 days at home and 1 day in one of the following offices closest to you- Chelmsford, Manchester, Haywards Heath, Tunbridge Wells or Whitstable
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: £20,000-£30,000
Due to expansion and growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a Personal Injury Claims Handler to join a supportive team in one of 5 locations: Chelmsford, Manchester, Haywards Heath, Tunbridge Wells or Whitstable.

As a Personal Injury Claims Handler, you will be overseeing a caseload of people who have been involved in an accident with one of our Policy Holders where an injury was sustained.
Responsibilities
- Responding promptly and pro-actively to incoming telephone calls and correspondence by use of telephone, e-mail and letter
- Managing a caseload of claims whilst utilising an effective diary system which ensures that cases are reviewed on a regular basis
- Controlling claim cost by achieving most economical settlement
- Adhering to agreed personal authority limits, referring to line manager for authorisation where activity exceeds s3uch limits
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
Skills/Experience required
- Claims Handling experience within Personal Injury and Motor Insurance OR
Credit Hire/Indemnity/Liability/Third Party risks/other associated heads of claim
- Strong communication skills
- Exposure to the MOJ or OIC Portal
- An authority limit of around £25K for claims
