Property Manager
A long-established, independent Estate and Letting Agent are currently seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager join their friendly team, based in Tonbridge. This is a brand new role created, due to their continued success and expansion.
This agent have been selling, letting and surveying property since the 1800's and have an exceptional reputation across Kent and the surrounding counties.
The role will include dealing with landlords and tenants to arrange and sort out maintenance issues. The ideal candidate will be someone who is motivated, has good customer service skills and is confident using a PC and property management software.
The successful Property Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of 100-150 fully-managed residential units, with duties including:
- Regular (quarterly) property inspections
- Attending check-in and check-outs, and producing reports
- Coordinating Inventory Clerks
- Ensuring properties are compliant (e.g. gas safety, EPCs, electric reports etc.)
- Coordinating contractors for property repairs, improvements etc.
- Working closely with other departments such as Lettings, Accounts
- Liaising with Tenants regarding property upkeep, repairs etc.
The successful Property Manager will offer the following skillset/background:
- At least 2 years experience working as a Property Manager in a similar role
- Ideally be ARLA or NFOPP qualified (not essential)
- Driving license with own vehicle
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional when under pressure
- Be a keen team player
- Able to develop long-term professional relationships with Tenants, Landlords and Contractors
- Highly organised and able to multi-task

Hours will be Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch. There is flexibility to work Saturdays (9am-4pm) if preferred with a day in lieu - this is not essential.
You will have your own vehicle (insured for business use) and mileage will be expensed.
