Day Rate: Maximum £500–£550 per day (Outside IR35, DOE)

Role Overview:
My client is engaged in a major core banking implementation for a London-based bank and is seeking an experienced Testing Manager (QA Manager) to lead both security and performance testing activities across the programme.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing the security and performance testing workstreams, ensuring quality, consistency, and delivery excellence. This is a client-facing role that requires regular coordination with remote and offshore testing teams, providing clear guidance, oversight, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead security and performance testing across a core banking transformation programme
- Provide oversight, governance, and reporting for all testing workstreams
- Act as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with remote and offshore teams to ensure aligned and timely delivery
- Contribute to overall test strategy and best practices
- Proven experience as a Testing Manager or QA Manager
- Strong background in security testing and performance testing
- Significant experience working on banking or large-scale financial services projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate distributed teams effectively
