Whitehead Monckton have retained Gerrard White to hire their new Senior Residential Conveyancer, to be based in their Canterbury office.

The Residential Conveyancer will join this highly respected Kent-based law firm, with the possibility of ultimately heading up the Residential Property team across the firm.

The successful Residential Conveyancer will offer the following background/skill set:

• Be qualified (Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or Solicitor) with at least 4 years PQE
• Offer strong technical knowledge relating to residential property conveyancing including:
  • Sales and purchases of Freehold and Leasehold
  • Shared ownership
  • New build
  • Re-mortgage
  • Transfer of equity
• Have experience of working at a senior level with minimal/no supervision
• Ideally have an interest in mentoring/development of junior Lawyers/staff
• Strong business development skills and/or following/referral network
• Solid links to the local area
• Commercial awareness

The successful Residential Conveyancer will join at a senior level (Senior Associate/Salaried Partner level).

The successful Residential Conveyancer will be offered full support (1-2-1 Secretary; modern IT systems, dedicated business development managers, senior leadership team).
