Are you a Veterinary Nurse or an experienced Pet Claims Assessor looking for your next exciting challenge?

Position: Pet Claims Assessor (Remote)
Salary: £24,000 - £25,500
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
Start Date: Monday, 28th October

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process pet insurance claims efficiently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
  • Work closely with veterinary practices and customers to gather necessary information for claims assessment.
  • Ensure claims are settled swiftly, within Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and identify any potential fraudulent claims for referral.
  • Offer exceptional customer service by providing clear, prompt communication and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, products, and systems to help explain cover details to customers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Qualified Veterinary Nurse or experienced Pet Claims Assessor with relevant industry experience.
  • Skills: Excellent phone and communication skills, high attention to detail, strong IT and data entry skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attitude: A flexible, proactive approach to work and a willingness to embrace new tasks and challenges.

Desirable:

  • Previous pet insurance claims assessing experience is a plus.
