Will Writer

A large and well established law firm with multiple offices and an abundance of quality work, are seeking an experienced Will Writer to join their highly experienced Private Client team.

The successful Will Writer will enjoy a varied workload including:

  • Attending initial Client consultations and taking instructions on legal documents including Wills and other estate planning documents
  • Typing attendance notes
  • Drafting Wills, Power of Attorney and Trusts
  • Assisting senior colleagues on complex Private Client matters
  • Mentoring junior staff (where appropriate)
  • Liaising with interested third parties
  • Using case management system

The successful Will Writer will offer the following background/skill set:

  • Ideally be legally trained (i.e. law graduate, LPC)
  • Have at least 6 months prior experience in a similar role (Will writing or assisting Private Client Solicitors), gained within a law firm or legal services
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A "can do" attitude and willingness to go over and above client expectations in order to deliver an exceptional service
  • Be a keen team player
  • Offer solid IT skills, ideally with previous experience of using CMS
  • Be process driven and able to follow instruction
