Job Description
As an Application Support Analyst you will be supporting a global user base of some 400 staff within a major Reinsurance Broker, who are working with cutting edge Catastrophe Modelling software.
You will be providing technical support for a range of complex issues for applications on Windows Servers with SQL server backend technology. The role will also assist with software installations, and with admin duties on SQL Server and Windows Server technology.
Working- This can be remote with a day every other week in Ipswich offices.
The Successful Application Support Analyst
You MUST have experience working within application support for enterprise scale software applications, using ITSM's such as ServiceNow, or Remedy.
Any experience supporting insurance, or reinsurance applications would be beneficial, but is not essential.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of, or ideally hands on experience with Windows Serve technology, as well as MS SQL Server, and relevant databases as an administrator.
You will have experience managing tickets using call tracking systems, following ITIL processes, and be able to interact with end users and 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Communication skills are key, as is the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a geographically dispersed team.
