Retail Sales Assistant

Job description

Gerrard White have been instructed to find two new Sales Assistants for prestige company; G Collins and Sons.

G Collins and Sons are a globally recognised Jewellers, being the Queen's personal jeweller, and being one of Europe's largest distributors or Patek Philippe time pieces.

This is a Sales Assistant role, which would suit two ambitious individuals who are keen to progress their career. Full training will be provided.

The Sales Assistant will offer the following background/skill set:

  • Have strong customer service skills - ideally gained within a customer-facing position
  • Be articulate and well presented
  • Willing to learn
  • Be able to multitask and prioritise work load
  • Be a keen team player
  • Demonstrate good IT skills
  • Have a strong work ethic

The Sales Assistant will be responsible for duties such as (but not limited to):

  • Stock control
  • Sales and aftersales
  • Placing orders and managing purchases
  • Updating clients on their products/purchases
  • Delivering an exceptional level of customer service
  • Upselling and cross-selling of services and products
  • Assiting the Owner of the business with client care#
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers
  • Ad hoc duties
