Gerrard White are currently working with a leading Lloyd's business seeking an experienced Energy Underwriter to join a growing team, focusing on a global portfolio spanning various sectors including upstream, midstream, downstream, and offshore renewables. Based in London, you'll work closely with the natural resources team, utilising Lloyd's platform and company resources as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute innovative underwriting strategies that anticipate and adapt to evolving energy trends.
- Collaborate with industry experts and stakeholders to gain unique insights into emerging risks and opportunities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal teams, fostering a collaborative environment of excellence.
- Analyse market data and trends to identify new business opportunities and capitalise on untapped potential.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring we stay ahead in a fast-paced, competitive market.
