About the Role
My growing insurance group client is seeking a proactive and personable Internal Talent Recruitment Consultant to join their People Team. This is a newly created standalone role where you’ll take ownership of the insurance broking/ distribution recruitment across the business.

You’ll be responsible for managing relationships with external recruitment agencies, proactively headhunting for key roles, and supporting hiring managers through the resourcing process. On occasion, you may also support the wider People Team on projects and initiatives when recruitment activity is lighter.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked in insurance recruitment and is looking to bring their expertise to a dynamic and growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage recruitment activity across the business
  • Build strong relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners
  • Proactively source and headhunt candidates for specialist and senior roles
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand requirements and deliver quality shortlists
  • Contribute to People Team projects when required
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous recruitment experience (in-house or agency) – Must have insurance broking/underwriting recruitment experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, positive, and adaptable approach
  • Confident, personable, and able to work independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to regional offices
What’s on Offer
  • Competitive salary and commission structure (fee per hire)
  • Holiday entitlement: 25 days + bank holidays
  • Linkedin + job boards licence to identify and approach high level and active candidates
  • Hybrid working
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Career development opportunities in a forward-thinking organisation
About My Client
My client is a well-established, multi-disciplined insurance and risk management organisation, and one of the UK’s leading independent Lloyd’s brokers. From entrepreneurial roots, they have grown into a business with multiple offices across the UK.

Start Date
The ideal start date is October/November 2025 (depending on notice periods).
