Marketing Manager

The Gerrard White Consulting group incorporates two distinct, fast-growing and pioneering businesses - Gerrard White and Vermelo RPO. As we continue to grow further, we now have an exciting new opportunity, at a group level, for a marketing manager to be responsible for helping us drive brand awareness, B2B sales and candidate generation through digital marketing, brand management, email campaigns and and design.

As the lead in the group for our marketing and digital presence, you will have autonomy to build and develop our marketing strategy from the ground up and the budget to deliver your plans. This is a pivotal and exciting role. We are open to flexible days and or hours and we operate a hybrid working model with 1-2 days per week in the office in Tunbridge Wells (we are near the train station).

The role

• Develop strategies and tactics to increase brand exposure to attract talent and generate new business leads
• Evolve and manage our digital information and presence including websites and all social media pages
• Support and boost the sales efforts for both businesses i.e. email marketing campaigns
• Liaise with the external website developers on functionality and performance of the websites whilst managing content through the CMS systems and google analytics.
• Carry out regular evaluation, reporting and analysis, reviewing procedures and producing reports where required in order to deliver useful insights to help us improve the effectiveness of our digital marketing
• Develop marketing based services to our customers and/or work with client marketing teams (Microsites, Onboarding documentation, talent attraction posts, blogs

Skills:

• Experience of producing engaging social media content and digital marketing for a sales, recruitment or service based company
• Some knowledge of website user experience, analytics and managing a CMS
• Experience using web analytics including Google Analytics
• Creative and commercial with an ideas-driven approach
• Excellent copy writing experience
• A positive and collaborative approach
• Desirable - design experience (e.g. photoshop, brochures, infographics, presentation templates)
• Email marketing campaign experience
