Property & Casualty Claims Handler - Bristol

The Role
In this position, you'll manage a caseload of property claims, dealing with everything from fire and water damage to complex construction disputes. You'll have the autonomy to lead cases from start to finish, with claims ranging in value from £10,000 to multi-million-pound cases. With a strong focus on quality and client service, you'll also have the chance to engage in business development and contribute to process improvements.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a broad portfolio of property claims.
  • Provide timely and high-quality service, aligning with client service agreements.
  • Work on claims spanning various complexities and values, giving you room to grow and lead.
  • Contribute to team initiatives and improvements, driving innovation in the way we work.
  • Engage in client relationship-building and business development activities.

What You'll Need:

  • Prior experience in claims handling and running your own caseload.
  • Litigation experience and familiarity with Civil Procedure Rule, with a keen eye for legal processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability, with a balance of autonomy and teamwork.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
  • A desire to be part of a collaborative and supportive team.
