A well-known insurance company currently has several opportunities for Property Claims Handlers to join their Commercial Claims department.

They are looking for individuals who are seeking a rewarding career within insurance. You will be based in their newly refurbished office as a Property Claims Handler.

Their Commercial Claims unit is responsible for managing all claims relating to Commercial Property, Casualty, Motor Engineering and Commercial Motor. As part of the wider Claims function you really will be contributing to the purpose of helping all customers have better lives.

They are particularly interested in speaking with established Claims Handlers that have either subsidence or Business Interruption experience.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage your own portfolio of claims and offer support to others in training.
  • Contributing to the Claims Strategy by offering the best service to customers.
  • Working productively as a team to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and brokers.


Working Hours & Shift Pattern:

  • Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Typical hours are 9am - 5pm, however there can be some flexibility with these hours.
  • This company have adopted a hybrid way of working, which typically means 2 days in the office and 3 from home. This is so you have the best opportunities to connect with your team, innovate and learn.


Qualifications:

  • Insurance Property Claims exp from either retail or commercial claims is essential.
  • Awareness of current UK trends associated with Insurance and the wider market impacts.
  • In addition to handling your own case load of claims, you'll coach and develop your colleagues, so, you'll have experience in helping people to shape the right curiosity, passion and integrity needed for a collaborative, successful, career.
